To celebrate 10 years of Manitou Music Festival Dune Climb concerts, Crispin Campbell, Eugene Friesen, plus a six-piece string and percussion ensemble will perform at the Dune Climb. This annual concert presented by the Glen Arbor Art Association is free to the public and routinely draws an audience of thousands because of the unique venue and incomparable music. There is no charge for the concert, however, a National park pass is required for parking on Park property. Some chairs will be provided, however, concert goers are encouraged to bring their own chairs, blankets and picnics. In case of rain, the concert will be held at the Empire Town Hall.

Madonna Comes To Traverse City!

When a Baker and his Wife learn they've been cursed with childlessness by the Witch next door, they embark on a quest for the special objects required to break the spell, swindling, lying to and stealing from Cinderella, Little Red, Rapunzel and Jack (the one who climbed the beanstalk). Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later, with disastrous results. What begins as a lively irreverent fantasy in the style of “The Princess Bride” becomes a moving lesson about community responsibility and the stories we tell our children. The Village Voices, under the leadership of Ann Bloomquist and the Northport Community Band, conducted by Ken Bloomquist, are together once again for this most anticipated performance.
